About the Conference

International Conference under the auspices of the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations of IIT Kharagpur on “Next-Generation Precision Agriculture for Climate-Resilient Water-Energy-Food Systems” aims to provide a global platform for discussing innovative and sustainable solutions in modern agriculture. The conference focuses on precision agriculture enabled by IoT, AI/ML, remote sensing, automation, smart farm machinery, climate-resilient farming, sustainable aquaculture, smart food processing, and biotechnological interventions for resilient agri-food systems.

The conference brings together researchers, academicians, policymakers, industry experts, and practitioners to share cutting-edge research, technological advancements, and practical applications for sustainable agricultural production, intelligent water and resource management, agribusiness innovation, and climate-resilient water–energy–food systems.

  • IIT Kharagpur, founded on 18th August 1951, will complete 75 years on 18th August 2026.
  • To mark this occasion the Institute has decided on a two year long celebration starting in August 2025 and ending in August 2027.
  • This is an occasion to recall the contributions of generations of teachers and students who have made the Institute what it is.
  • It is a time for nostalgia, but also a time to rededicate and build, in the hope of keeping the dream alive for future generations of students.

Validity

Early Bird Registration Fee is valid upto 15 November 2026. Subsequently, the Late Registration Fee is applicable.

Inclusions

The registration fee (non-refundable) covers conference materials, refreshments, and meals (lunch and dinner) during the conference days.

Accompanying Person Fee

The fee for an accompanying person is INR 3,000 for Indian delegates and USD 150 for international delegates. Accompanying persons will be entitled to all conference facilities, except the conference kit.

Kindly note that accommodation charges are to be borne separately.
